Placenta care

Placenta care can come in many ways, not just encapsulation. Even though encapsulation is a great way to incorporate nutrients back into the body, you can also bury your placenta, make it into art, create a tincture, and even eat it raw. There are differing views on whether ingesting will be beneficial or not; but studies have showed that placenta encapsulation could prevent postpartum depression; reduce postpartum bleeding; improve mood, energy and milk supply; and provide important micronutrients, such as iron.
